For the past few years due to the large investments in the tourism, the winter resorts in Bulgaria are on a hole new level considering service, accommodation, facilities and last but not least appereance. Only a few years ago Bansko was a small resort that had only one lift while at present times it is one of the most modern resorts on the Balkans. Other resorts like Borovets and Pamporovo not only maintained their good positions on the tourist winter resort market but also expanded their services. The new, modern look of the bulgarian winter resorts together with the typical bulgarian values such as hospitability and service contribute to the good name that Bulgaria has as a winter resort destination.
